Girl Power took over when the U11 Girls East
Sussex Sussex Schools Team Event was held at West St Leonards
School recently.
The event was resurected after years of
absence which is an encouraging sign that the boys may not
always have it their own way in future.
A total of 3 schools were represented which
included two Academy Schools, Salehurst and Battle & Langton.
I what was an enjoyable event victory came
the way of Battle & Langton with Salehurst taking the runners up
spot.
Academy Coach, Kevin Haffenden was delighted
that the event took place and expressed how proud he was of the
girls who took part.
Table Tennis is dominated by boys but events
like this prove there is a place of the girls who can give as
good as the boys.
Watch out boys, Girl Power is around the
corner.
