Club to Set Up Table Tennis Academy

   
Rother Table Tennis Academy  Battle Table Tennis Club is working towards the setting up of a table tennis academy to serve the Rother area of East Sussex. The aim of the new academy is to work with partners to develop the sport in the area and bring more opportunities to young people.

As well as increasing opportunities to play the sport the academy aims to raise standards of performance and bring more opportunities in leadership. New opportunities to take qualifications in leadership, coaching and umpiring will be on offer. In addition the new Butterfly Skills Award Scheme will be a fundamental part in coaching sessions particularly within school clubs. The academy will play an important part in overseeing the clubs successful Premier Schools development scheme.
