Members of the club are enjoying the use of two table tennis training
robots thanks to the efforts of a number of young players in the club.
The robots were purchased at the request of junior members of the club
with funding coming from the Youth Opportunities Fund, A number of young
players put an application together and as part of the application the
purchase of robots for training purposes was included. The robots formed
part of the application for a Summer Table Tennis School with the young
people pointing out that these would be available beyond the project and
be available to club members and others in the community. This will mean
that the club will be making a robot available to our
Premier Schools
Table Tennis Link Programme whilst the other will be based at our Claverham HQ. |
