Schools Enjoy a Challenge Event

	A number teams from the Hastings & Rother area enjoyed some friendly team matches in a School Team Challenge at Claverham Community Sports College recently. The event was organised by Battle Table Tennis Club as part of its Premier Schools Table Tennis Development Scheme. The event was open to schools within the scheme as well as others who wanted to take part. The event was open to players with little or no previous experience and attached teams from Battle & Langton, Christ Church, Claverham, Mountfield & Whatlington and new school Salehurst from Robertsbridge. Each team consisted of 4 players with each player having to sets per match. All teams had a total of 2 matches against other schools during the event.
